One of the things that I'm thinking about as Santa, sitting here, what is the problem I'm trying to solve and how do I want to measure its success. When you go into the real world and you're a customer and you're consuming, you're in a bank or you're in a hospital, do you care about how efficient the development team was that built the app that is monitoring your vital signs – nope. I don't think you do. I think you care about how effective that app is at monitoring those crucial vital signs that are keeping the doctors and nurses informed of your health. How effective is the solution, is the king of all kings. The relentless pursuit of effective problem solving is the key to Agile success. It is the key to efficiency bizarrely enough. It is ubiquitous to efficiency. Effectiveness of solving the problem is what gives you customers. Effectiveness of solving the problems is what you keeps customers. Effectiveness of solving the problem is what brings joy to you, to your teams, when you know you've made that difference. So let's all have an effective Christmas I promise you if it's effective it'll be efficient and see you on the next one.
