I have some amazing elves in my workshop they work really really really really really hard. I am just in awe with their skills, with the commitment, with their drive, with their passion but sometimes they work too hard. Sometimes they push themselves a little bit too much and I can see the temperature rising. I can see the frustration. I can see the anguish and the the urgency sort of leaking out of their bodies and how they stand and how they sit and how they talk. This to me is a warning. This to me means, as Santa, as a leader, I'm not ensuring that they're taking enough time for themselves. That they're creating enough quiet time to reflect. That they're not taking enough time away from the office. I don't care if you're in the office eight hours a day. This is not what it's about. It's about getting value created for our clients. Getting great products, great toys out into the marketplace and to do that we all need to be healthy ourselves. These toys are about helping children and adults in some cases grow and develop and understand themselves. How can we do that? How can we ask them to do that if we can't do that ourselves. So look after your own mental health because 2023 is going to be a great year so you need that energy you need that enthusiasm and at the end of the year you need to be fully alert, alive, and enjoying yourself. So take the space, put your own oxygen mask on first, keep that in mind as you come towards Christmas, time of great pressure. But also keep that in mind throughout the whole year.
