• If you have domain authority you should behave as a domain designer  - so you are empowered to make decisions in this domain however you are responsible for seeking advice from all the people we refer to as one degree separated from the decision. 
• Seek advice
• Seed consensus as much as you can, however, the consensus is not required 
• Waiting until we bring everybody to the same level of 10 years' experiences is not an option anymore if we want to be competitive
• In the modern world, slow is dead, slow is not competitive
• We want decisions faster, not slower  
• Bring the problem to the people, not the solution
